Treatment Options
Eating Disorders are complex and the recovery process is complex because eating disorders are typically not about food. Shoreline offers several treatment options depending on where each client is in their recovery including residential treatment, day treatment/partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), and intensive outpatient programs (IOPs).
Residential Treatment
Our residential treatment is for adults of all genders, ages 13 and older, who need more supervision and therefore barriers so they can’t engage in their eating disorder behaviors. While providing this level of care in a non-hospital environment we don’t compromise the very delicate medical, psychological, psychiatric, and spiritual needs of our clients.
Day Treatment / Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHPs)
Our PHPs are the most intensive outpatient treatment service for eating disorders that we offer. For all genders, ages 13 and older, our PHPs meet Monday through Saturday for six to eight hours each day.
Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs)
Our IOPs are for all genders, ages 13 and older, and consist of up to six days and 14 to 24 hours per week of treatment. Treatment includes psychotherapy sessions and individual nutrition counseling.
