Our day treatment/partial hospitalization program (PHP) is the most intensive outpatient treatment service for eating disorders that we offer. Our PHP, available to all genders ages 13 and older, meets Monday through Saturday for six to eight hours each day. Clients in the program have multiple therapeutic groups a day, two individual therapy sessions per week, and visits with the psychiatrist and dietitian. Two meals and one snack daily are provided as well as movement therapy like yoga or stretching. Individual, group, and family therapies are critical components of a comprehensive treatment plan. Our treatment is based upon a comprehensive clinical model that incorporates specific methods and modalities that have proven effective in our own treatment setting as well as in evidence-based research.
All programs follow APA guidelines and are fully accredited by CARF. We have a strong emphasis on dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and expressive and interpersonal therapies. We help clients gain insight while learning new coping strategies to better defend against underlying emotional issues.
