At our eating disorder rehab, we treat the following eating disorders:

Care Through CulinaryTM:

Nourishing the Mind, Body, and Soul

At our eating disorder treatment centers, a vital part of treatment involves helping each client rebalance their relationship with food, their mind and body, and their soul. Through our eating disorder facilities, our Care Through Culinary™ program helps clients progress in their recoveries by:

  • Teaching them how to plan, shop, and prepare meals
  • Helping them build supportive communities during meals with others
  • Supporting them as they actively explore culinary options
  • Providing welcoming therapeutic environments to help them change behaviors and
    overcome fears

Treatment Options At Our Eating Disorder Recovery Clinics

Our eating disorder recovery clinics offer several eating disorder rehab treatment programs, meeting each client where they are in their recovery. At our eating disorder treatment center, our treatment options include residential treatment, day treatment/partial hospitalization treatment, and intensive outpatient treatment.

Residential Treatment (RTC)

Shoreline offers two comprehensive residential treatment programs. At the Satori House, our clinicians provide residential treatment for adolescents (13-17 years) and at the Park Avenue House, our clinicians provide residential treatment for adults (18 years and older).

Day Treatment / Partial Hospital Program (PHP)

Our day treatment/partial hospitalization program (PHP) at Shoreline’s eating disorder center is our most intensive outpatient treatment. Our PHP meets Monday through Saturday for six to eight hours each day. Clients have multiple therapeutic groups a day, two individual therapy sessions per week, and visits with the psychiatrist and dietitian.

Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

At our eating disorder recovery clinic, we offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP), which consists of three and a half hours of treatment, three to six days per week. We offer morning, evening, and weekend options to better meet the needs of our clients. Our IOP includes group therapies as well as individual nutrition counseling, individual therapy, and psychiatric care.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs)

Our partial hospitalization treatment programs (PHPs), for all genders ages 13 and older, are the most intensive outpatient treatment we offer. Our PHPs meet Monday through Saturday for six to eight hours each day. We had a very positive experience with Shoreline and our loved one has a completely different relationship with food. The intense emotional work (in both groups and individual therapy) has created lasting changes in self-image and provided practical, effective strategies to cope with stress in healthy ways. We couldn't have hoped for a better outcome. The program is solid and professionally implemented.
